Doors tightly sealed,
Locked with black palisades,
Thrown open for a moment,
To find a mirror of themselves
Two souls see each other,
Unhidden, uncovered, piercing in their intensity.
Blue summer waters-
Stormy waves of muted blue
Held together for a moment,
In an endless ocean
Seeming like eternity,
Two souls
So much unspoken,
So much shared,
Then doors clang shut.
Black spikes crossed,
Spell is broken,
Two souls hidden once more,
Behind the veil;
The curtains,
Over the windows to the soul
